Can my family members take advantage of my SafeBase membership?


Yes, as long as you live in the same house.

How often can I request assistance from SafeBase?


SafeBase covers you for three incidents per year. In addition to this, once a year you will also get R1,500 relocation support, R1,500 deep cleaning support and two days free of a house or pet sitter.

What happens if I need home assistance outside of working hours?


There is no such thing as working hours. The SafeBase team are available 24/7, 365 days a year.

WHAT WILL HAPPEN AFTER I CALL SAFEBASE TO REPORT AN INCIDENT?


Make sure you have your membership number handy when you call SafeBase. The agent will discuss where you’d like support, and then dispatch the help you need. SafeBase will settle the cost directly with the service provider, as long it falls within the T&Cs. Remember additional parts will be for your own cost to settle directly with the provider.

IS THE PERSONAL INFORMATION I SUBMIT TO SAFEBASE SECURE?


Absolutely. While we need to collect some personal information from you, our services comply with the Consumer Protection Act, the Protection of Personal Information Act, the Electronic Communications and the Transactions Act. Your personal information will be stored on a secure server, further shielded from prying eyes by a firewall. SafeBase will only disclose your personal information to a third party with your consent.
